BenQ, the display expert, introduces the PD2725U, a new addition to its DesignVue series for professional graphic designers, architects, and 3D artists. The nearly bezel-less PD2725U design monitor with a diagonal of 68.58 cm / 27 inches features a 4K UHD resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels in a 16:9 format, 10-bit color depth, a static contrast ratio of 1200:1, a brightness of 250 cd/m², and a response time of 5 ms (gray to gray). The new professional screen is expected to hit stores in May with a non-binding retail price of 999 euros including VAT.

Ideally prepared for image editing

Even before the first use by the user, the PD2725U is factory calibrated and ready for professional use. The result is immediate accuracy and fidelity of colors. The PD2725U covers 95% of the DCI P3 and 100% of the sRGB color space, providing lifelike and authentic color representation. It is also PANTONE and CalMAN certified, making it ideal for detailed photo and graphic editing. The PD2725U is compatible with HDR 10 and is also VESA HDR 400 certified. The M-Book mode ensures visual alignment between Mac and monitor and transfers content without deviating from the original. For better overview on the 4K monitor, the Picture In Picture (PIP) and Picture By Picture (PBP) modes can be enabled if desired, and the workspace can be adjusted to the individual needs of the viewer. It features lightning-fast Thunderbolt 3 connectivity for data/video/audio and power transfer via a single cable, keeping your workspace tidy. In addition to two Thunderbolt 3 ports, there are two HDMI 2.0 inputs, one DisplayPort 1.4, 2 x USB-3 Gen2, and 1 x USB upstream, as well as a headphone output on the monitor for maximum connectivity flexibility. Two integrated 2.5-watt speakers complete the feature set of the new model.

KVM switch included - Easy control for a comfortable workflow

Equipped with a Keyboard Video Mouse (KVM) switch, the PD2725U allows easy control of two different end devices (computers) via one keyboard and mouse, regardless of whether one or two screens are used. This enables quick switching between connected computers. Users can, for example, perform complex design tasks while simultaneously increasing their efficiency at work.

Shortcut Puck

The handy shortcut Puck is a convenient way to change monitor settings with one click. The buttons can all be individually assigned, making them ideal for optimizing personal workflows.

EyeCare features for relaxed working

Like all models in the DesignVue series from BenQ, the PD2725U is equipped with proven EyeCare features. These include Low Blue Light and Flicker-Free technology, as well as easy adaptability to personal seating positions. The PD2725U can be adjusted in height and tilt angle, rotated sideways, and swiveled.

BenQ offers a 3-year warranty with bring-in service on the PD2725U.
